My new favourite pianist

During lockdown I’ve “discovered” Vikingur Olafsson, a still young Icelandic pianist - absolutely superb!!!

ABC iView currently have a concert of his with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and his encore of a transcribed and (VERY!) slow movement from a Bach Organ Sonata (after a sublime Mozart 24th Piano Concerto) is just breathtaking…
